PROJECTS
Refinery Roots
I created this documentary film about the city of Richmond and its relationship with the oil presence of Chevron. This film was made for my Course Media and the Environment. Refinery Roots includes interviews from Lizbeth Ibarra and Diana Segura, as well a features Teo Richard as the narrator. This is only the first rendition and I plan on taking it into a finer and longer rendition this summer.
Borderlines - The Understanding of Borders and Culture
"Borderlines" is an experimental film that uses techniques of screencast, archive, and stop motion to tell of the realities of immigration. I was compelled to create this film due to the current political state of the US, its repeated attacks on Immigrant character, in addition to unawareness of border history.
The Muffled Voices of Davis - A Documentary
"The Muffled Voices of Davis" is a Documentary produced in response to CDM 104 - Documentary Production. Our goal was to convey the ostracization of the unhoused community in Davis, and its desaturation due to the college presence. I held the role of Co-Director, Cinematographer, Producer, and Editor.
Mi Selena - A Film by Isabel Reyes
"Mi Selena" is a mixed media homage project dedicated to my younger sister and her impact in my life. The Short film utilizes stop motion techniques merged with archival footage.
First Gen Day
