The Wait: 

 

Walk to your assigned # location, you will be met by my assistant. 

 

You will be blindfolded and walked over to your seating location, while holding hands with other participants. Do not speak during your seated time.

 

During your scheduled 30-minute slot you and seven other participants will be selected to enter the Capsule of the Coffin in pairs of two.

 

While outside the capsule, you will remain seated. Do not speak to your peers or outside spectators.

 

 

Day of Death: 

 

You will be tapped on the shoulder. Stand up, my assistant will guide you into the capsule.

 

You will take a seat, and once prompted, you will lie down.

 

You will be encased in a wooden coffin. Once instructed, you will remove your blindfold. 

 

Your face will be streamed onto the wall via projection and camera installed into the coffin.

 

Your proctor will signal the start with a verbal “start,” and you should not speak to the proctor.

 

For 4:30 minutes, you will converse with your anonymous peer. You may speak of anything, but do not reveal identity or identifying factors.

 

Your proctor will signal the end with a verbal “end.” Do not speak after your time has been announced. 

 

Remain in your coffin until the coffin is opened. You may sit up and only face your side of the wall, put your blindfold back on. Your connection has died.

 

You will be walked back to your seat, where you will remain for the remainder of the 30-minute assignment. (disclaimer: You may participate twice at the discretion of my assistant if there is an odd number of participants)

 

You will be randomly released into the event crowd by my assistant. Do not discuss your number or participation group.
